Art Benson began his career at the age of 18 in Raleigh, NC as an intern for Deep South Entertainment (2010). In 2011, he went on to earn a degree in Songwriting and Music Business from Belmont University in Nashville. During his time at Belmont, he interned with Red Ridge Entertainment (2012) while simultaneously organizing shows for a wide range of artists throughout the Belmont campus and surrounding Nashville music scene.

After graduating from Belmont University in 2015, Benson began interning with Big Spark Music Group, booking shows for the college campus circuit. In April of 2016, he joined The Kinkead Entertainment Agency, where he worked with and booked performances for a diverse roster of artists including Bill Engvall, Lorrie Morgan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bob Eubanks, Flo Rida, Chingy, RaeLynn, Jerrod Niemann, Tony Jackson, and many others.

In December 2023, Music Row Magazine named Benson one of 2024’s Next Big Things. After years serving as Vice President at Kinkead Entertainment, Art Benson launched Art Benson Entertainment, where he continues to represent and develop a roster of legendary artists, heritage acts, and nationally recognized touring productions.
